Responsibilities:
– Provide professional hair styling services to clients, including haircuts, blowouts, and styling for special occasions
– Perform barbering services, such as beard trims and shaves, for male clients
– Offer nail care services, such as manicures and pedicures, to clients
– Utilize salon software to schedule appointments and manage client information
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired hairstyle and provide recommendations
– Apply hair extensions and perform color treatments based on client preferences and color theory
– Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
– Sanitize tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
– Valid cosmetology or barbering license
– Proficiency in hair styling techniques and trends
– Knowledge of salon software (e.g., MINDBODY) for appointment scheduling and client management
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
– Familiarity with hair extensions application and color theory
– Ability to upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
– Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
