We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and a desire to support our skilled stylists in providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Salon Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the salon while gaining valuable experience in various beauty services.
Duties
Assist stylists with hair services, including applying base colors and shampooing clients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including washing and sanitizing tools and equipment, sweeping floors, and maintaining laundry
Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort during their visit.
Qualifications
Previous experience or training in cosmetology is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new techniques and services within the beauty industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for beauty trends and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Valid cosmetology license is required

Pay: $16.25 – $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
