We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Stylist to join our team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will provide exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities:
– Provide a wide range of barbering and hair styling services including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and hairstyling
– Perform color treatments, highlights, and other hair coloring techniques (optional)
– Offer expert advice on hair care and styling products
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering and hairstyling
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
– Manage appointments and maintain accurate client records using salon software (e.g., MINDBODY)
– Promote and sell salon products to clients
– Collaborate with team members to create a positive and professional salon environment
Requirements:
– Valid barber or cosmetology license
– Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist
– Proficiency in a wide range of barbering techniques including the use of straight razors
– Strong knowledge of color theory and hair coloring techniques (optional)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with clients
– Familiarity with retail math for product sales
– Experience with salon software (e.g., MINDBODY) is a plus
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
