Responsibilities:
– Provide hair care services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and other treatments
– Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and coloring
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon
– Recommend and sell hair care products to clients
– Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service
– Collaborate with team members to create a positive and professional salon environment
Qualifications:
– Valid cosmetology license
– Proficiency in using salon software (e.g., MINDBODY) for scheduling appointments and managing client information
– Knowledge of sanitation practices in the salon industry
– Experience with straight razor techniques is a plus
– Strong retail sales skills to promote and sell hair care products
– Ability to mentor junior stylists or apprentices
– Knowledge of barbering techniques is a plus
– Familiarity with nail care services is a plus
– Excellent customer service skills
