We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our clients. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in hair styling, makeup application, and other beauty services. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Apply makeup and provide makeup consultations to enhance clients’ overall appearance.
Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, and barbering as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Assist in retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members on best practices.
Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory effectively and contribute to store management tasks.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Familiarity with retail sales strategies and experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
A passion for the beauty industry with a desire to continue learning and growing professionally.
