Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, providing consultations, and ensuring that clients leave feeling confident and satisfied.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling.
Apply eyelash extensions and makeup application as requested by clients.
Provide nail care services to enhance overall client experience.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts when appropriate.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Educate clients on hair care products and recommend retail sales to enhance their hair maintenance at home.
Assist in store management tasks as needed, including inventory management and merchandising.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques, including color theory and hair extensions.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Knowledge of color theory and application techniques is essential.
Experience with eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and straight razor cutting is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
