We are looking for a Hair Stylist Assitants to wash and care for our customers. Assistant responsibilities include washing, glazing/toning hair, sweeping, laundry and dishes. Ultimately, you will ensure all customers leave our salon satisfied with our services and feel happy with their new looks.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers and take them to their stylist
Wash and rinse clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)
Apply toners and glazes for stylists
Laundry, sweeping and keeping the salon tidy
Apply hair treatment products, as needed masks, and conditioning treatments
Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed
Skills
Work experience with people
Proficiency in washing hair- will train if not
Excellent communication skills
Physical stamina to stand for long hours
Flexibility to work in shifts
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Certification in cosmetology or enrolled in scool
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour
