Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair care and styling techniques, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and color theory.
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice on styles and treatments.
Perform hair extension applications and maintenance as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon space, including tools and equipment.
Assist with retail sales by promoting hair care products that complement services provided.
Mentor junior stylists or interns as needed, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Handle front desk duties including scheduling appointments using MINDBODY software.
Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
Proficiency in color theory and application techniques.
Experience with hair extensions is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with retail sales practices to effectively promote products to clients.
Knowledge of barbering techniques is a plus.
Ability to perform straight razor shaves safely and effectively is desirable.
Experience in nail care is an added advantage but not required.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
