We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair services while creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in cutting, styling, and various hair treatments, while also engaging in retail sales and upselling products that enhance the client experience. Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, styles, coloring, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon space, including workstations and tools.
Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing expertise and best practices in hair care techniques.
Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory effectively and contribute to store management tasks.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and hair threading techniques.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or barbering certification is required.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Previous experience in retail sales or upselling is preferred.
Knowledge of hair threading techniques is a plus.
Experience with makeup application is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also managing individual responsibilities.
