Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling.
Utilize hair threading techniques to enhance client satisfaction.
Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive beauty experience.
Apply knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable hair colors for clients.
Maintain accurate records of client preferences and service history using salon software such as MINDBODY.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell additional services and products to enhance the overall client experience.
Ensure the salon is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Skills
Proficiency in hair threading techniques and various hair styling methods.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate hair colors.
Familiarity with salon software, particularly MINDBODY, for appointment scheduling and record keeping.
Ability to upsell services and products effectively while maintaining client trust.
Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and listen actively to client needs.
Experience in nail care is a plus, enhancing the range of services offered.
Basic understanding of store management principles is beneficial for maintaining salon operations.
Skills in providing eyelash extensions are an added advantage for expanding service offerings.
