Provide professional hair care services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments
Stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques
Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable hairstyles or treatments
Perform scalp treatments and massages for relaxation and improved hair health
Maintain a clean and organized work station
Keep track of client records and preferences using salonscale
Promote and sell Oribe, Goldwell and Kerasilk salon products to clients
Sanitize tools and equipment after each use to ensure a clean and safe environment
– Collaborate with other stylists and salon staff to create a positive and professional work atmosphere
Requirements:
Valid cosmetology or barbering license. If you rent a station you will also need insurance, a city of Bellevue license, state of Washington business license and shop license
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist
Proficiency in a wide range of hair care techniques, including cutting, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments
Knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized color formulas for clients
Strong retail sales skills to promote salon products and increase revenue.
You will receive 10% commission for retail products sold
Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients
Familiarity with salon Vagaro software for appointment scheduling and client management
Ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Experience with hair extensions is a plus
