Responsibilities:
– Provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling
– Stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques
– Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and preferences
– Recommend appropriate hair care products and treatments
– Maintain a clean and organized work station
– Sanitize tools and equipment regularly
– Utilize salon software (such as MINDBODY) to schedule appointments and manage client information
– Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
– Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and products
Requirements:
– Valid cosmetology or barbering license
– Proven experience as a Hair Stylist
– Proficiency in straight razor techniques, color theory, and hair extensions
– Strong retail sales skills to promote and sell hair care products
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and creativity in hairstyling
