We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, ensuring that each client leaves feeling beautiful and satisfied. This role requires not only technical skills but also the ability to connect with clients and provide exceptional service in a welcoming salon environment.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
Perform makeup application for clients as needed, enhancing their overall look.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Mentor junior stylists and assist with front desk operations when necessary.
Stay updated on current trends in hair care, color theory, and nail care to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY is a plus.
Strong knowledge of color theory, hair extensions techniques, and nail care practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor others effectively.
