Job Duties
- Provide quality services by consulting with clients and applying appropriate techniques.
- Participate in approved local marketing initiatives: coupon campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and client appreciation events.
- Educate clients about proper home hair care and recommend services and products.
- Employ best practices for customer service to build loyalty.
- Provide quality consultations, stating the final price before the service begins.
- Complete all required administrative tasks (e.g., closing tickets on POS, scheduling appointments) promptly.
- Communicate positively with clients, team members, leaders, and the corporate support team.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards set by Regis.
- Be willing and able to perform all services offered at the salon.
- Maintain flexibility for scheduled shifts, including night and weekend shifts.
- Attend required technical training sessions.
- Follow Regis policies as defined in the Handbook and salon‑specific procedures (bank deposits/runs, salon cleaning/maintenance, disinfecting implements).
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Work effectively as a team player and/or independently.
- Market yourself in the community and salon to increase clientele.
- Possess exceptional communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Exhibit consistent, excellent customer service skills.
- Multi‑task efficiently to complete salon duties.
- Show willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with hair trends.
- Physical requirements:
bending, sitting, twisting, turning, lifting (generally 10–15 pounds), and standing for extended periods of time.
Experience
- Stylist‑in‑Training – graduated 90 days or less away from cosmetology school.
- Stylist – valid, current cosmetology or barber’s license.
Education
- Maintain a valid cosmetology or barber’s license (or be 90 days or less from graduation).
- All Stylists/Stylists‑in‑Training must complete assigned training as determined by Regis.
- All Supercuts Stylists/Stylists‑in‑Training must participate in the Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) program and obtain a certificate of completion.
Work Location – Onsite at Salon Location.
