Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair Stylist with ESTABILISHED CLIENTELE to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and talent while providing exceptional hair services to our clients. COMMISSION OR BOOTH RENTAL AVAILABLE
Duties:
– Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
– Provide consultations to clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles and treatments
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon equipment
– Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Collaborate with team members to create a positive and welcoming salon environment
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role
– Proficiency in hair threading, straight razor techniques, makeup application, eyelash extensions, salon software, color theory, retail math, front desk operations, and nail care
– Excellent knowledge of various hair products and their applications
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Creativity and artistic flair in hair styling
– Valid cosmetology license
