Position Title: Boutique Stylist/Coordinator Overview: As a Boutique Stylist/Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping individuals enhance their confidence and self-esteem through personal styling experiences. Your creative flair and fashion expertise will empower clients to look and feel their best, whether they are preparing for job interviews, special events, or their employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Personalized Styling: Work closely with clients to understand their preferences, lifestyle, and interview/employment clothing needs. Wardrobe Consultation: Provide guidance on outfit coordination, wardrobe essentials, and styling tips. Clothing Selection: Assist clients in selecting clothing items that flatter their body type and enhance their personal style. Confidence Building: Offer encouragement and support to clients as they explore new styles and step out of their comfort zone. Hair and Makeup Recommendations: Provide basic hair and makeup advice to complement clients’ overall look and enhance their appearance. Maintain Professionalism: Always uphold a professional and non-judgmental attitude, respecting clients’ privacy and confidentiality. Collaboration: Work closely with volunteer stylists and coordinate with staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients. Boutique Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the boutique, including organizing inventory, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring the boutique is well-stocked and visually appealing. Volunteer Coordinator: Collaborate with our volunteer stylists to assist with stylist appointments, ensuring an elevated, smooth, and supportive experience for clients. Documentation: Keep accurate records of client interactions by filling out the client referral form. Qualifications: Boutique Management Knowledge: Experience in running or managing a boutique/retail space, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Passion for Fashion: Demonstrated interest in fashion, styling, and personal image enhancement. Creativity: Ability to think creatively and adapt styling techniques to suit clients’ individual tastes and needs. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. Empathy and Sensitivity: Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Time Commitment: Willingness to commit to a part-time hourly schedule to assist our clients and volunteers. Professionalism: Maintain professionalism and discretion in all interactions, respecting clients’ confidentiality and privacy. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with other volunteers and staff members to deliver high-quality services to clients. Reliability: Dependable and punctual.
