Love Lane Salon is looking for a motivated, passionate Assistant to join our creative team! We are a high-energy, community-driven salon that believes in delivering beautiful results while creating an unforgettable client experience. Responsibilities
Assist stylists with shampooing, blow-drying, toning, treatments, and general client care
Maintain a clean and organized salon environment (sweeping, laundry, sanitizing tools, setting up stations)
Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for
Support day-to-day salon operations, including booking appointments and assisting at the front desk as needed
Help with content creation for social media (behind-the-scenes footage, client photos) — training provided if needed!
Participate in team meetings, education sessions, and salon events
Skills
Current cosmetology student, recent graduate, or newly licensed stylist (NJ license)
Punctuality and adherence to scheduled work hours
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Friendly, personable, and confident in greeting clients and quickly finding solutions
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong communication skills
Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills (we’ll train you on our systems)
Available evenings and weekends
Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for learning
Interested in growing into a stylist role with us long-term
Position Details
Full-time or Part-time schedule that supports salon business hours
