Job Overview
We are seeking a talented, passionate, growing stylist to assist in day to day activities in the salon. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair braiding techniques, a fast learner, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. As an assistant you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients through your creative skills.
Responsibilities
Perform various foundation hair braiding techniques within a certain amount of time, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations.
Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
Shampooing and Blow drying clients to prep them for their style when needed.
Help prep stylist station for upcoming services
Experience
Proven experience as an efficient and neat Hair Braider
Familiarity with cosmetology principles, including thoroughly shampoo and hair prep
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Fun personality and always will to help
Willing to learn and grow as a stylist

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
Schedule:
4 hour shift
Day shift
Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
