We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. We offer booth rent at $100/wk. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills while providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment.
Duties
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to clients’ preferences.
Demonstrate proficiency in color theory to achieve desired results for hair coloring and highlighting.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts and styles.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling inquiries.
Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and promote salon offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment to ensure a pleasant experience for clients.
Collaborate with team members to create an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a professional salon setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, color theory, and current trends in the beauty industry.
Familiarity with eyelash extensions, hair threading, straight razor cutting, and nail care is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
Experience in upselling products or services is a plus.
Previous experience in store management or front desk operations is beneficial but not required.
