We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to create beautiful hairstyles, offer expert advice on hair care products, and build lasting relationships with clients.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and natural hair styling to meet client needs.
Apply hair extensions and demonstrate knowledge of various techniques.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and ensure all tools are sanitized after each use.
Engage in retail sales by recommending suitable hair care products based on client needs.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and color theory to provide clients with the latest styles.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with retail math to assist clients in selecting products.
Licensed by the state board of cosmetology in the state of Maryland
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Pay: $23.22 – $27.63 per hour
