Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a vital role in enhancing our clients’ beauty and confidence through your expertise in hair care, styling, and related services.
Duties
Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to individual client needs.
Demonstrate proficiency in various techniques like hair extensions, eye lashes, makeup, hair up-dues are Plus, but not required.
Utilize color theory to achieve desired results while ensuring the health of the client’s hair.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client records using salon software, mainly for your own clients.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hair care products and services.
Engage in upselling additional services or products that enhance the client experience.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth salon operations and exceptional customer service.
Engage in social media posting in collaboration with the salon social media account to promote stylist work availability, stylist latest work, salon offers and activities.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license or work permit.
Strong knowledge of hair care techniques, trends, and products.
Clientele following is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and provide personalized service.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
A passion for beauty and an eagerness to stay updated on industry trends.
