We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
Utilize salon software to manage appointments, maintain client records, and process transactions.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and contribute to salon sales.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards.
Assist at the front desk as needed, including scheduling appointments and greeting clients.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, techniques, and products.
Perform makeup application services as requested by clients.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon atmosphere.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in using salon software for appointment management and client records.
Knowledge of retail sales techniques with an emphasis on upselling products.
Experience with straight razor techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
Background in barbering or makeup application is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A valid cosmetology license is required.
