Globe Salon is seeking a talented and experienced Male Hairdresser to join our team. The Male Hairdresser will be responsible for providing high-quality hair care services to our clients, including haircuts, styling, and grooming. The ideal candidate will have excellent cutting and styling skills, a strong understanding of current trends, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation:
Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, and desired styles.
Provide expert advice and recommendations based on clients’ hair type, face shape, and lifestyle.
Hair Cutting and Styling:
Perform haircuts, trims, and styling services for male clients of all ages.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cutting and styling techniques and trends.
Beard and Facial Hair Grooming:
Offer beard trims, shaping, and grooming services to male clients.
Provide facial hair maintenance and styling tips to clients.
Hair Coloring and Treatment:
Administer hair coloring, highlights, and treatments as requested by clients.
Recommend appropriate hair care products for at-home maintenance and styling.
Customer Service:
Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for clients and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
Build rapport and develop long-term relationships with clients through excellent service and attention to detail.
Appointment Scheduling and Management:
Schedule client appointments and manage booking system to maximize productivity and minimize wait times.
Maintain accurate records of client preferences, services provided, and product recommendations.
Cleanliness and Sanitation:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, tools, and equipment.
Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
Qualifications:
Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by [State Licensing Board].
Proven experience as a hairdresser or barber, with a strong portfolio showcasing cutting and styling skills.
Knowledge of various hair textures, types, and techniques for cutting, styling, and grooming.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Passion for the hair care industry and commitment to ongoing education and skill development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
