We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our salon. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for the beauty industry, ensuring that every client has a positive experience from the moment they walk in.
Duties
Greet clients warmly and check them in for their appointments.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirm bookings via phone, email, or in-person.
Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and managing transactions accurately.
Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and welcoming at all times.
Assist with retail sales by promoting products and services to clients.
Provide information about salon services and products to enhance customer experience.
Support salon staff by coordinating schedules and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in customer service or retail sales; previous experience in a salon or beauty environment is a plus.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register duties.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to sell products and services through effective communication and product demos.
Experience supervising staff or managing front desk operations is advantageous.
A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Familiarity with scheduling software or salon management systems is preferred but not required.
