Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair treatments.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health and safety standards.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering professional advice on hair care and styling options.
Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and boost sales.
Manage appointments effectively using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software.
Assist in front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing payments.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques through continuous education.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques is preferred.
Knowledge of MINDBODY or similar salon management software.
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on sanitation practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Previous experience as a stylist, and customer service preferred.
