Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hair styling techniques, color theory, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to achieve their desired looks.
Duties
Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services according to client preferences and current trends.
Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions with precision and care.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable hair colors and techniques for clients.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Assist clients in selecting retail products that complement their hairstyles and educate them on proper usage.
Provide makeup application services as needed, enhancing the overall client experience.
Engage in effective communication with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth salon operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, barbering, and makeup application.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management is a plus.
Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their preferences.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Experience in store management is advantageous but not required.
