We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our stylists and enhancing the overall client experience. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the beauty industry while developing their skills in a fast-paced salon environment. Must be licensed, you will be training with the owner directly.
Responsibilities
Assist stylists with various tasks, including preparing clients for services and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Sanitize tools and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly and addressing their needs.
Support retail sales by promoting products and assisting clients with their purchases.
Help with makeup application, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions as needed.
Engage in upselling services and products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Participate in mentoring opportunities to develop skills in cosmetology and other beauty services.
Skills
Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
