Job Overview
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion in cosmetology and a flair for creativity. You’ll be supporting the Echo Beauty team while developing your skills behind the chair. As a Hair Stylist Assistant, you will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. You’ll assist with daily salon operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Ensuring salon remains stocked, and aesthetically on point.
Shampooing, toning, and prepping clients for stylists services
Mixing color, assisting with extension services, and blow-drying
Assist with store management tasks including inventory control and retail math applications.
Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience.
Front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients warmly, and check-ins/ check-outs.
Assisting with social media content
Requirements
Current PA cosmetology license (or in school for one)
A passion for luxury hair care, color, and trend- driven styling
Team player mindset with a proactive attitude
Willingness to learn and grow with guidance and mentorship
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
Willingness to attend classes (both mandatory and voluntary) to improve your skill set.
Willingness to attend mandatory salon meeting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 – $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
