Job Summary
We are seeking a spirited and friendly face to help our team. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in hair or a strong will to learn and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
As a salon assistant, your duties include greeting clients and offering them refreshments, providing shampoos and scalp massages, disinfecting equipment, sweeping floors, washing and folding towels, stocking retail shelves, answering phone calls, blowdrying and styling, and booking appointments.
Duties
Shampooing
Blow dry and styling
Preparing equipment and stations
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a pleasant experience for clients.
Communicate effectively with clients.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and checking out clients.
Occasional social media posting
Other assistance as needed
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of hair extensions, straight razor techniques, and various hair styling methods.
Strong communication skills
Previous experience in store management is a plus but not required.
A valid cosmetology license is a plus.
Valid Drivers license
Ability to pass a background check

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 28 per week
