As a Hair Stylist Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with Award- Winning stylists and have ongoing training with Professional beauty brands, all while helping clients look and feel their best. You will be responsible for a variety of duties as a Hair Stylist Assistant:
Duties
Assist stylists with whatever they may need including but not limited to shampoos, gloss applications, blowouts, and treatments.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment
Prepare color formulas, manage backbar supplies, and restock products
Support clients to ensure a luxury guest experience from start to finish
Observe and learn advanced techniques from senior stylists
Participate in ongoing in-house education and training
Experience
Currently licensed in Illinois or enrolled in a Cosmetology program
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
Proven experience in hair styling with a portfolio showcasing your work is preferred.
Familiarity and passion for various hair care products and techniques, and a willingness to learn more
Strong attention to detail and time management

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
