As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients while contributing to a positive salon environment.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair threading.
Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences.
Maintain knowledge of current trends in hair styling and color theory to offer the best recommendations.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking.
Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing payments.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing expertise and best practices.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the salon space, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
Proficient in Cosmetology with relevant certifications.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience in front desk operations or store management is preferred.
Knowledge of hair threading techniques is an asset.
Familiarity with salon software for efficient workflow management.
Ability to upsell products and services confidently.
Skills in nail care are a plus for providing comprehensive beauty services.
A passion for mentoring others in the field of hair styling.
