Position: Hair Stylist – Aveda Female only salon
• Identify the needs of the customerand recommend a range of styles / services/ products that areappropriate.
• Consult and provide inputs atevery stage of the styling process, i.e. advising on the colour,style, hair type, treatments, etc.
• Cut, trimand style the hair of customers.
• Provide haircoloration services ranging from basic to artistic colorations andhighlights.
• Do permanent straightening / waveusing specialized products.
• Maintainrelationships with key customers and records of what has been usedfor them such as hair color shade or permanent waveformula.
• Stay up to date on the latest styles/ trends. Also have in-depth knowledge of the products that areused or for sale in the salon.
• Maintainpersonal grooming standards and the cleanliness and hygiene of thesalon at all times.
• Coordinate withreceptionists to have maximum number of appointments perday.
• Guide and supervise the hair and salonassistants to ensure that they maintain the salon‘sstandards.
Desired Candidate Profile
• You will have a minimum of high school qualification
• You will have a formal hair dressing qualification (City &Guilds Level
2)
• You will have minimum 3 yearsof hair cutting experience in a reputablesalon
