We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Provide eyelash extension services as needed, ensuring high-quality application and client satisfaction.
Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing payments.
Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on best practices in hairstyling techniques and customer service.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall client experience.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Proficiency in various hairstyling techniques including barbering is preferred.
Experience with salon management software is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to maintain sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations.
Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
