As a Hair Braider, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ appearance and confidence while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Provide professional hair braiding services to clients, ensuring high-quality results that align with their desired styles.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable braiding techniques.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair braiding and styling to offer innovative services.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards.
Utilize MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments.
Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products that complement the braiding services provided.
Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions or hair coloring when appropriate.
Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service.
Skills
Proficient in various hair braiding techniques and styles.
Strong understanding of color theory to enhance overall client satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Experience with eyelash extensions is a plus but not required.
Background in cosmetology preferred, providing a well-rounded skill set for hair styling services.
Familiarity with retail sales strategies to promote products effectively.
Knowledge of straight razor techniques is advantageous for offering additional grooming services.
Experience in store management is beneficial for contributing to team leadership and operational efficiency.
