Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Hair Braider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in braiding techniques and a passion for creating unique and stylish hair designs.
Duties:
– Perform various hair braiding techniques such as box braids, cornrows, twists, and other intricate styles
– Consult with clients to determine their desired look and provide recommendations on suitable braiding styles
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Stay updated on current hair trends and styles to offer innovative braiding options
– Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction with the final results
Requirements:
– Proficiency in MINDBODY software preferred
– Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering is a plus
– Experience with eyelash extensions, nail care, color theory, makeup application, and retail math is advantageous
– Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a hygienic work environment
– Familiarity with straight razor techniques for hair styling
