Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments while adhering to industry standards.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment for both clients and staff.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on hair care and styling options.
Educate clients on product usage and benefits, promoting retail sales through effective upselling techniques.
Assist in mentoring junior stylists and providing guidance on best practices in hair care and styling.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair fashion, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings.
Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience with hair extensions and hair threading is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in managing product sales effectively.
Previous experience in store management or mentoring is a plus.
