Job Overview
Blue Door Spa and Salon Ellenton and Bradenton are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, color treatments, and styling services while ensuring a welcoming and professional spa environment.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles or treatments.
Understand and educate clients on producst effectively and assist in upselling products to clients.
Support store management by adhering to operational policies and procedure
Perform front desk duties including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing payments.
Skills
Valid cosmetology license with a strong understanding of hair care techniques.
Proficiency in various hairstyling methods including cutting, coloring, and treatment applications.
Experience with hair extensions is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong upselling skills to promote products and services effectively.
Ability to support store management functions and contribute positively to team dynamics.
Experience using Zenoti software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.

Pay: $24.69 – $29.36 per hour
