Hotel Blackhawk is looking for a new Barber and Hair Stylist to join our team. You must have a current license to cut hair and have completed a barber training program. .Focusing on hair styles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for different customers. You must have strong communication and customer service skills; we want all of our customers to enjoy being in our barbershop/ salon and leave satisfied with their cut so that they become regular customers.
Barber/ Hair Stylist Duties and Responsibilities
Greet clients as they arrive and offer them refreshments
Prep clients for their haircut and ask what type of styling they want
Cut and style clients’ hair to their specifications
Engage in friendly conversation with clients
Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition
Ensure you have the proper products in stock for future clients
Barber/ Hair Stylist Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
Barber or hairstylist license
Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Organizational and time-management abilities
Attention to detail
