We are currently seeking a hardworking, reliable, passionate_ licensed cosmetologist or barber _as a Key Holder at our Neenah Location! If you are qualified, we’d love to hear from you!
Job functions include but not limited to assisting our two co-managers in the following tasks on an AS NEEDED BASIS:
Deposits
Payroll
Monitoring Staff
Education/Training Staff
Housekeeping
Leading by Example

Who are we?
The Barbershop A Hair Salon for Men was founded in 2005 by a local family who are involved on a regular basis. Our focus is strong communication from our stylists and barbers to the leadership team, support team and owners. We have an open-door policy 100% of time.
It is our mission to provide a top-notch service and quality and an unbeatable value in an excellent atmosphere. We take pride in our trade, and it shows.

What services do we provide?
– Our all-inclusive haircut service includes a personalized haircut, shampoo & condition, hot towel, eyebrow & mustache trim, and shoulder massage.
– We also offer beard trims, foil shaver, grey blending, and waxing.
-We also offer razor fades, beard and face line ups, as well as razor neck shaves. We have an established straight razor training program customized to your training needs.

– A guaranteed hourly wage or commission plan that will give you the opportunity to earn $28-$35 + an hour in straight commission PLUS TIPS paid out at the end of your shift!
– 20% commission on all retail- whether you sell $10 or $100!!
No sliding scales, no hit this level for that, no more wondering. No gimmicks, you do the service, you get the commission. You control your paycheck at The Barbershop.
Fair, consistent schedules – Every other weekend OFF and CLOSED EVERY SUNDAY-we don’t just “offer it”, we honor it. We’ve done this since the very first day we opened our doors. There are many salons/barbershops that say they do this but very few that carry this important benefit consistently. People that join us often don’t believe that we really do honor your weekends off until we sit down and create your first schedule.
Monthly schedules that tend to stay the same – This makes planning life outside of work much easier. Childcare is easier to plan, vacations are easy to plan, and family and social time are easier to plan. Work life balance is important at The Barbershop.

– Our shops are busy but do not confuse us with a production line. We have a unique booking system that handles appointments and walk-ins and allows you to provide service at a pace that you are comfortable with. We are in control of our service times. We have booking agents at our main office that field phone calls, taking appointments for us! That’s right! You don’t have to leave your client to answer the phone! That’s a huge perk!
