We are seeking a licensed Hair Stylist, Braider, Natural Stylist and extension specialist to join our styling team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair styling and possess a creative flair. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your talent and provide exceptional salon services to our clients.
Duties:
– Perform hair consultations to determine clients’ needs and preferences
– Provide hair services such as cutting, coloring, braiding and styling
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques
– Recommend hair care products to clients
– Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of tools and work area
– Build and maintain a loyal clientele base
Skills:
The following skills are either required or nice-to-have for this position:
– Proficiency in color theory for hair coloring services
– Knowledge of salon software for appointment scheduling and client management
– Experience in different hair techniques
– Understanding of retail math for product sales
– Proficiency in cosmetology practices including sanitation protocols
– Ability to mentor other stylists in skill development and be a team player
