Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon equipment in accordance with health regulations.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hair care products and services.
Promote retail sales of hair care products, ensuring clients leave with the best solutions for their hair type.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, techniques, and products to provide cutting-edge services.
Assist with nail care services as needed, showcasing versatility in beauty treatments.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon environment that fosters teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Skills
Proficient in cosmetology techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of retail math to effectively manage product sales.
Experience with hair extensions application is a plus.
Familiarity with barbering techniques is beneficial.
Ability to effectively use salon software for scheduling and client management.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene in the salon environment.
Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions and recommendations to clients.
