Overview
Pure Skin and Scalp is a wellness studio renowned for our science-backed solutions and our holistic approach to scalp and follicle health.
We are seeking only talented and passionate Cosmetologists to join our growing team of Scalp Therapists. Ideal candidate(s) must be coachable, adaptable to different settings and people. Must be comfortable working in a quiet and calm environment.
As a Scalp Therapist you will be responsible for providing scalp and follicle treatments, scalp massages and blowouts.
**Please do not apply if you need training on shampooing and blowouts on any type of hair type/texture. Apply only if you meet ALL the requirements below.
Responsibilities include
Shampooing, blowouts and scalp massage.
Learn our methods on supporting scalp and follicle health.
Work closely with housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and organization inside and outside the studio.
Open and close the studio when needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and communication styles that align with the brand.
Assist with front desk duties including welcoming guests, answering the phone, handling payments, and maintaining guest records.
Participate in social media marketing to attract new guests.
Upholding and adhering to our brand standards and expectations while providing services.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license.
Previous experience in a salon or spa setting.
Exceptional shampoo and blow out skills on ALL hair types and textures.
Excellent scalp massage skills.
Short nails (no acrylic or long nails).
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills for effective guest interactions.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Punctuality and effective time management.
Practice and maintain good hygiene at all times.
A positive mindset.
Friday and Saturday 9:30am to 3:30pm
Training on products and our methods will be provided.
$20/hour during training
$25/hr (based on performance)
