You Must Have:
An up-to-date cosmetology license for the state in hairstyling
The ability to work weekends (Saturday at a minimum with Sunday and Friday availability preferred) and be flexible with your schedule (must be able to work peak hours as determined by the bar, typically Thursday through Sunday)
A passion for the beauty and cosmetology industry and making people feel better
Salon experience an asset
Job Responsibilities:
Styling Services:
Perform beautiful blowouts, curls, waves, braids, and updos based on client requests and Blo signature styles
Create customized looks for events, weddings, and everyday glam
Apply and style clip-in hair extensions (training provided if needed)
Ensure every guest leaves feeling flawless and photo-ready
Client
Experience:
Greet clients warmly and provide a friendly, professional experience from start to finish
Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and offer personalized suggestions
Educate guests on products and styling tips to help maintain their look at home
Recommend retail products and memberships based on client needs
Salon Support:
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized station and tools
Support overall salon cleanliness and assist teammates as needed
Be reliable, on-time, and ready to hustle during busy shifts
Stay updated on current trends and continue learning new styling techniques
