We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We pay 50% commission.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and texturizing.
Perform makeup application and nail care services as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and techniques.
Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Assist with retail sales of hair care products and tools to enhance client experience.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive salon atmosphere.
Manage inventory levels of salon supplies and report any shortages.
Skills
Proficient in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and barbering.
Experience in makeup application and nail care is a plus.
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Background in cosmetology with relevant certifications or licenses.
Understanding of color theory to provide clients with personalized color consultations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Retail sales experience to effectively promote products that complement services offered.
