Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair cutting and styling techniques, including traditional cuts, fades, and beard trims.
Utilize straight razors for precise grooming and styling.
Provide hair coloring services while applying knowledge of color theory.
Offer hair threading services as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience.
Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Mentor junior staff members in techniques and best practices.
Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments using salon software such as MINDBODY.
Requirements
Valid barbering license or certification in the state of practice.
Proven experience in hair styling and cutting techniques.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote salon products and services.
Familiarity with salon software systems, particularly MINDBODY, is preferred but not required.
Ability to mentor less experienced barbers or apprentices effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Pay: $47.63 – $50.91 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
