Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team in a newly opened salon located at 6515 N 7th street 85014. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide a range of hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for hair styling while providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
– Provide hair care services such as cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
– Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and preferences
– Recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments based on clients’ hair type and face shape
– Perform hair threading services for precise hair removal (not a requirement)
– Utilize software for appointment scheduling and client management
– Assist with store management tasks, such as inventory management and retail displays
– Provide front desk support by greeting clients, answering phone calls, and handling payments
– Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through continuous education
Requirements:
– Valid cosmetology or hairstyling license in Arizona
– Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of previous work (Minimum 1 year experience)
– Proficiency in a wide range of hair styling techniques and services
– Knowledge of retail math for product sales
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Strong attention to detail and time management skills
