Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and a strong understanding of various braiding techniques. As a Hair Braider, you will provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring they leave feeling beautiful and satisfied with their hairstyles. You will also play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our salon. A current clientele is preferred. Stylists will get 10% commission on all products sold. Stylist will also get paid commission
Responsibilities
Execute various hair braiding styles, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide professional recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the workstation and throughout the salon.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Utilize computer software for appointment management and client records.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Upsell hair care products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair braiding and styling techniques.
Skills
Proficiency in various hair braiding techniques with a keen eye for detail.
Strong customer service skills to foster positive client relationships.
Experience with hair extensions and hair threading is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
A background in cosmetology is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
