Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, highlighting, balayage, styling, blowouts, and hair treatments.
- Conduct professional consultations to understand clients’ needs and recommend appropriate services and home care products.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation in accordance with salon standards.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Licensed Hair Stylist/Hairdresser, or eligible to work as a hairstylist in British Columbia.
- Previous salon experience is required.
- Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring, and styling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, and client-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Skills, education and experience in beauty therapy/esthetician is an asset.
