Duties
Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon environment.
Utilize retail math to manage inventory and assist in retail sales of hair products.
Handle front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments using MINDBODY software.
Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and product usage.
Perform hair threading as requested by clients.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive client experience.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
Strong knowledge of color theory and barbering techniques is preferred.
Experience with hair extensions is a plus.
Proficient in retail sales with an understanding of retail math concepts.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
