Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team as a 1099 Contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair care services in a Senior Community and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Our stylists must be able to invoice their customers and collect
Responsibilities
– Perform hair cutting, styling, and coloring services based on client preferences
– Provide hair treatments such as conditioning and scalp treatments
– Offer hair care advice to clients for at-home maintenance
– Keep workstations clean and sanitize tools after each use
– Upsell salon products and promote retail sales
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques
Qualifications
– Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with expertise in hair cutting, coloring, and styling
– Proficiency in hair threading, nail care, makeup application, and straight razor techniques is a plus
– Knowledge of color theory and experience with salon software for appointments and inventory management
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Previous experience in store management or front desk duties is advantageous
